Editing video feedback/learner response

1) Type up your feedback/comments from your teacher. Good match on action for walking through the doorway but perhaps a couple of missed opportunities for other examples of match on action? A little slow motion used I think? This can work for effect but does take away from continuity editing element as it draws attention to the editing process conversation works - I think you observe The 180 degree rule successfully but I might need to check (there is one shot that breaks it) Would music potentially helped? 2) Type up your feedback from fellow students. great use of slow motion and match on action  feels pixelated 3) Now reflect on your video. Did you meet the brief and successfully include the three key editing aspects we have learned? no i didn't and we learnt match on action,180 degree rule and continuity editing 4) What were the strengths and weaknesses of your final film?   https://youtu.be/ro1asnqR3Bs?feature=shared The scene starts out with a straight cut to an extreme close up of powders shoes, directly contrasting the original introduction of jinx within s1 ep 4 of arcane in which she and ekko are engaged in an opposing battle. In doing this the writers of Arcane cleverly convey the painful reminder of what could have been between these characters, Whilst also affirming Ekkos feelings no matter how hidden they once were in this universe and in turn shining a light on the contrast in experiences as ekko is given the privilege of being able to focus on his feelings and seek them out  whereas in his original timeline he is consistently experiencing intense and traumatic hardships so he's not given the time to truly explore his emotions.Having all the other characters out of focus in this scene greatly contributes to the growing tension between both powder and ekko as the viewers are seeing how they see each other highlighting the level of admi...

Write three WWWs and three EBIs. WWW: effectively conveyed the emotion i wanted from the audience  www- varied cinematography  www- matched my script EBI- slowed down editing so the text was more visible  EBI- explored more diverse locations EBI- more focus on mise en scene  4) Learner response: think about w...

Blog feedback

MAHONEY, Kimiyah   Full Name Film poster analysis Mise-en-scene blog tasks Mise-en-scene video recreation Mise-en-scene video & LR Blog feedback and LR MAHONEY, Kimiyah   WWW: Your recreation video was brilliant – not easy to film or to direct in terms of actor performances but it was so enjoyable and captured the feel of the original so well. I really like your reflection on the work in your LR too – remember it’s your first video project so you will learn so much from each one we do! In terms of analysis, the level of depth and detail in the mise-en-scene analytical tasks is really impressive – keep up the good work on that.   EBI: For the mise-en-scene recreation you need to upload to YouTube and then add it to your blog. This is delayed due to the permissions issue we have so fully understand that. In terms of your analytical work, your mise-en-scene...
